Job Description
A reputable HR consulting firm is seeking a Human Resource Associate to support HR operations across multiple client organizations. This role involves managing core HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and administrative support while ensuring adherence to best practices and Nigerian labor laws.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices across client organizations
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and personnel documentation
- Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination
- Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure proper documentation for new hires
- Provide support in managing employee relations issues and workplace concerns
- Assist with disciplinary procedures, conflict resolution, and investigations
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes and maintain performance records
- Support HR audits and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Prepare HR reports and documentation for management review
- Assist in organizing training and development initiatives
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–4 years of relevant Human Resources experience
- Good understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Professional HR certification (CIPM, PHR, or SHRM) is an added advantage
