A reputable organization in the oil and gas sector is seeking an experienced Human Resource (HR) Officer to oversee and manage HR operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure the selection of qualified candidates.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.
- Oversee performance management systems and staff development programs.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and internal HR policies.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Handle compensation, benefits, and other welfare administration activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in the oil and gas sector.
- Must possess CIPM certification and other relevant professional qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
