Job Description

A reputable travel agency is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee its human resources operations and support organizational growth. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong leadership skills and experience managing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer
Salary: ₦200,000 – ₦500,000 Gross Monthly

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and systems that align with business objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and workforce planning.
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate employee training, learning, and career development initiatives.
  • Manage payroll administration, compensation, employee benefits, and HR records.
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, employment regulations, and internal HR policies.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide insights to support management decision-making.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or an equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of Human Resources experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial position.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and Nigerian labour laws.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
