Information Technology Teacher (Remote)

Job Description

An accredited nonprofit training provider, the Cybersecurity Institute at Lab Four, is seeking a passionate Information Technology Teacher to deliver interactive, certification-based training to aspiring tech professionals. This role involves both virtual lectures and hands-on lab sessions focused on certifications such as Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, CCNA, CCNP, AWS, Azure, and CompTIA Security+. The ideal candidate is an experienced IT professional with strong teaching skills and a commitment to student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and practical IT instruction through lectures and lab sessions.
• Develop and evaluate assessments, projects, and activities to measure student progress.
• Supervise lab environments, ensuring smooth technical operations and supporting students during practical exercises.
• Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to students.
• Manage the Employment and Entrepreneurship Assistance Services (EEAS) team, guiding students in resume development, LinkedIn optimization, job searches, and interview preparation.
• Stay up-to-date with IT trends and certification updates to keep course content relevant.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in IT roles such as system administration, networking, or security.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching or training in IT-related programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (preferred).
• Current certifications in Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, CCNA, CCNP, AWS, Azure, and CompTIA Security+ (preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
