Reports To: Head of Interior Design
Salary: ₦250,000 monthly
Location: IO Furniture Showroom, Ilupeju, Lagos

Job Overview

An established furniture company is seeking a talented Interior Designer to develop and execute creative design solutions that reflect the brand’s high standards. The role involves advising clients, creating technical drawings, selecting materials, and supervising project installations to ensure client satisfaction and design integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance to clients on space planning, layout, furnishings, and color coordination.
  • Develop detailed working drawings and specifications using design software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Conduct site measurements, monitor project progress, and ensure installations align with approved designs.
  • Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, material selections, and mood boards to clients for approval.
  • Research design trends, materials, and innovations to enhance project quality and creativity.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the company’s design standards and branding across all projects.
  • Document and respond to client feedback, inquiries, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture (Master’s degree in Architecture is an added advantage).
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in interior design, space planning, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Max, and presentation software.
  • Strong technical skills in layout design, lighting, material selection, and visual composition.
  • Familiarity with rendering and video editing tools such as Autodesk 3ds Max and CINEMA 4D.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
