Job Description
Location: Onsite – Ikoyi, Lagos
Salary: ₦700,000 – ₦1,000,000 Net Monthly
A reputable organization in the financial services sector is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Internal Audit Officer to join its team in Ikoyi, Lagos. This role involves conducting internal control evaluations, risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial, operational, and compliance controls.
- Evaluate business processes and identify areas of risk or improvement.
- Prepare audit reports and present findings with actionable recommendations.
- Support IT audits and utilize data analytics tools for enhanced insights.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4–5 years of experience in internal audit/control, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACA or ACCA certification is mandatory.
- Experience with IT audits or knowledge of CISA/Data Analytics is an added advantage.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
