Job Description

An Internal Auditor is required to ensure financial accountability, compliance, and proper utilization of resources within a media organization. The role involves conducting audits, reviewing contracts, and monitoring financial processes to maintain transparency and prevent resource mismanagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits on financial and operational processes.
  • Verify advertising contracts, sponsorship agreements, and client payments.
  • Review payroll, staff claims, and petty cash expenditures.
  • Monitor compliance with financial policies, industry regulations, and internal procedures.
  • Prepare audit reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify risks, fraud, or irregularities and suggest improvements.

Requirements:

  • Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of internal audit experience.
  • Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA, CIA) required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
