Job Description
A growing organization in the manufacturing, poultry, or FMCG sector is seeking an experienced Internal Control Officer to strengthen compliance, ensure financial accuracy, and safeguard company assets. This role requires hands-on involvement in production processes and strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and appraise the effectiveness of accounting, financial, and compliance controls while ensuring timely documentation.
- Perform revenue assurance by reconciling daily sales with bank inflows.
- Monitor asset usage, manage field force expenses, and enforce compliance with company policies.
- Conduct stock checks to align physical stock with system records, investigate discrepancies, and prevent leakages.
- Identify business risks, develop preventive strategies, and ensure timely reporting.
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting; ACA certification is an advantage.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing, poultry, or FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical ability with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- Must have prior experience as an Internal Control Officer with active involvement in production processes.
- Willingness to work in Lagos and Ogun.
