Job Description

Filmhouse Cinemas Limited is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Officer to provide first-level technical support across its operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can troubleshoot IT issues efficiently, support system users, and contribute to smooth day-to-day technology operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
  • Respond to IT support requests via email, phone, or ticketing systems within agreed timelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and network issues
  • Set up and manage user accounts, access rights, and passwords in line with IT policies
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records and support inventory management
  • Document IT processes, procedures, and knowledge base articles
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior IT personnel when required
  • Assist with IT system upgrades, rollouts, and routine maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection protocols

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience in an IT support or service desk role
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows and macOS), computer hardware, and basic networking concepts
  • Experience using IT service management or ticketing tools
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a user-focused mindset
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
