Job Description

A reputable international school on the Lagos Mainland is currently recruiting for the position of an IT Support Officer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-line technical support, managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring efficient system performance and security throughout the school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer first-level technical support for all hardware, software, and peripheral issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software
  • Manage local area networks, internet connectivity, and ensure network security
  • Oversee and support the school’s CCTV system and learning management platforms
  • Maintain IT inventory records and provide technical assistance to project teams

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT support or system administration
  • Strong understanding of PC hardware/software, TCP/IP, routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Hands-on experience with Mikrotik RouterOS, Winbox, and User Manager
  • Ability to support Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and cloud applications
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills
