Job Description

Migo Money Incorporated is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to manage, secure, and optimise its internal IT environment. This role focuses on ensuring reliable systems, strong security controls, and efficient technical support that enables employees and core business operations to function seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead employee onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning, access setup, and account deactivation
  • Manage and support macOS devices using MDM tools such as Jamf
  • Administer Google Workspace, including user accounts, security configurations, and access controls
  • Operate and maintain identity and access management systems, including SSO and 2FA platforms such as Okta
  • Provide support for ChromeOS/Chromebooks, with occasional Windows and Linux support
  • Manage IT support tickets using helpdesk tools such as Zoho or ServiceNow
  • Maintain endpoint and infrastructure security using antivirus, anti-malware, VPN, and access control solutions
  • Monitor IT infrastructure, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues to minimise downtime
  • Document, implement, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security best practices
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors and collaborate with risk, security, and data teams to support compliance requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as Jamf, Okta, Google Workspace, Cloudflare, or security certifications (advantage)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT operations
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting macOS environments and cloud-based productivity tools
  • Practical experience with identity and access management, including SSO and 2FA
  • Experience using Cloudflare for Teams and Cloudflare WARP
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 controls and security requirements
  • Experience with asset and inventory management tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
  • High level of ownership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to process improvement
