IT Support Specialist Needed

A leading rental car company headquartered in Dubai is hiring an IT Support Specialist to remotely support its network of branches across the UAE. The role involves providing first and second-line IT support, managing user accounts, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical business systems. This position is ideal for a tech-savvy professional with solid troubleshooting skills and experience in supporting multi-location environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to technical support requests via help desk, email, phone, or remote tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and connectivity issues
• Manage user accounts, email configurations, and system access
• Monitor IT systems and escalate complex issues when necessary
• Provide support for internal platforms, including reservation systems and Microsoft 365
• Document procedures and maintain IT support guides
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for escalated technical issues or repairs
• Adhere to data security and privacy protocols

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• 2–4 years of experience in IT support, preferably across multiple sites
• Proficient with Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and remote desktop tools
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Must be fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Must reside in the UAE and be available to support users in Gulf time zones

Preferred but Not Required:

• Familiarity with POS or car rental management systems
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Support Technician
• Experience with Azure or Google Workspace
