Job Summary
A reputable organization is seeking to hire an IT Technical Support & Compliance Officer to provide reliable technical support across multiple locations while ensuring adherence to IT security and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT support, system administration, and information security practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across assigned branches.
- Enforce IT governance, security protocols, and compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and ITIL.
- Administer Windows, macOS, Google Workspace, and perform basic Linux support.
- Manage networking components, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and Wi-Fi.
- Maintain endpoint security, apply software patches, and support CCTV, VoIP, and point-of-sale systems.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and IT processes efficiently.
- Travel as needed to support branch operations and neighboring sites.
Key Qualifications
- OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in technical support within a multi-site or enterprise environment.
- Proven experience in enforcing IT security and governance standards.
- Proficiency in Windows & macOS administration; basic Linux knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Google Workspace administration experience.
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer-service orientation.
- Industry certifications such as Google Workspace Administrator or equivalent are a plus.
- Familiarity with help-desk ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Freshservice) and basic scripting in PowerShell or Bash is an advantage.
