Job Description

Odixcity Consulting is recruiting a skilled JavaScript Developer with strong MERN stack experience to build, maintain, and optimize modern web applications. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and debug web applications using JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, React.js, and MongoDB.
  • Build responsive, user-focused interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Design clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following best development practices.
  • Develop new features, improve existing functionalities, and resolve software bugs.
  • Collaborate with designers, product teams, and backend developers to deliver quality solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Write and execute automated tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and participate in code reviews to improve the overall codebase.
  • Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a JavaScript Developer or MERN Stack Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, HTML, CSS, and MongoDB.
  • Solid understanding of programming principles, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
  • Knowledge of single-page application development using frameworks such as React.js or similar technologies.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and application optimization skills.
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Salary
  • ₦400,000 monthly.
