Primera Africa Group is seeking a Junior Backend Engineer to join her team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will contribute to building and optimizing backend systems that support our financial and business operations. Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications and APIs.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Improve system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Ensure data security and application scalability.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in backend development.
  • Proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java.
  • Strong understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL) and RESTful API development.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
