Tidal Commerce Inc., a specialized eCommerce consulting and engineering boutique recognized as a Shopify Plus partner, is seeking a Junior Content Writer. The role is ideal for someone with strong writing skills, an understanding of SEO, and an eagerness to grow in digital marketing. This position offers the chance to create engaging content across multiple technology-driven brands while gaining exposure to high-impact strategies under the mentorship of experienced leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write and edit content such as blog posts, guides, whitepapers, product explainers, customer stories, landing pages, and promotional materials.
  • Support SEO initiatives by conducting keyword research, optimizing on-page content, and tracking performance using tools like SEMrush or Google Keyword Planner.
  • Research technology-related topics including commerce, cybersecurity, physical security, and broader digital trends, ensuring accuracy and digestibility.
  • Maintain and update website content through CMS platforms such as Webflow and WordPress in collaboration with design and development teams.
  • Assist in creating co-branded content and promotional assets for marketing campaigns and partner events.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in content writing, marketing, or digital media, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Strong writing, grammar, and editing skills supported by a portfolio of content samples.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, content planning, and basic digital marketing concepts.
  • Basic understanding of content performance tracking and advertising platforms like Google Ads.
  • Working knowledge of simple design tools such as Canva or Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience writing for B2B technology, eCommerce, or security-related industries.
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms such as Shopify, Webflow, or WordPress.
  • Proficiency in French (bilingualism is an asset).
  • Exposure to analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Search Console.
  • SEO-related certifications.
