AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria is seeking a proactive and skilled Junior IT Security & Assurance Officer to join our team. This role involves maintaining the security, integrity, and availability of our IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations in a fast-paced financial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage IT security measures to protect organizational data and systems against unauthorized access or breaches.
- Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.
- Collaborate with teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary patches or upgrades.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security protocols and ensure adherence by all staff.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices for cybersecurity and data protection.
- Assist in investigating and resolving IT security incidents promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in IT operations, with a focus on security and assurance.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and data management.
- Proficiency in security tools and technologies for monitoring and threat mitigation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+) are an added advantage.
