A reputable organization in Lagos is currently hiring a Junior Network Engineer and IT Support Officer to support its technology infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network systems
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and escalate issues as necessary
- Support the IT team in resolving user technical issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and procedures
- Collaborate with senior engineers on IT infrastructure projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
- Basic familiarity with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA certification
- Understanding of network security protocols and best practices
