Salary: ₦300,000 Monthly (Net)
Job Description:
A reputable organization in the oil and gas industry is seeking a Junior Petroleum Engineer to support petroleum operations and assist in optimizing production. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for the energy sector, and a keen interest in developing within the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of well performance and reservoir behavior.
- Provide support in production optimization and field development planning.
- Conduct technical analysis using petroleum engineering software and tools.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support engineering and operational decisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field such as Chemical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering.
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience in petroleum engineering. Internship or graduate trainee experience may be considered.
- Basic knowledge of well operations, reservoir engineering, and production processes.
- Familiarity with petroleum engineering software like PETREL, ECLIPSE, Prosper, Pipesim, or similar platforms.
