We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Land Rig Chief Electrician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems on our land rigs.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment on land rigs.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of junior electrical staff to optimize performance.
- Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical systems and provide reports to the management team.
Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Electro Technical Officer certification (STCW III/6).
- Completion of STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping) training.
- Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques (STCW Code A-VI/1-1).
- Certification in Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (STCW Code A-VI/1-2).
- Elementary First Aid certification (STCW Code A-VI/1-3).
