Moniepoint Incorporated is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Lead, Channels Audit. The ideal candidate will play a key role in aligning internal audit strategies with the overall business objectives of Moniepoint Microfinance Bank. This position is perfect for a results-driven audit leader with strong data analysis, revenue assurance, and compliance expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support internal audit projects and investigations by providing data-driven insights that enhance the quality of findings and audit sampling.
  • Automate audit processes using data analysis and scripting techniques to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist the Chief Audit Officer and Directors in developing audit plans, procedures, and programs that evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Contribute to enterprise risk assessments and monitor compliance with regulatory and accounting standards, leveraging data analysis for optimal performance.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, ensure proper documentation of evidence, and supervise the performance of Audit Associates.
  • Provide coaching and training to audit team members, promoting best practices in auditing and data-driven decision-making.
  • Represent the Internal Audit department in meetings with other divisions or external stakeholders when required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in data analysis and leadership, preferably in financial services or consulting.
  • Strong command of SQL and familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, IDEA, Alteryx, or Tableau.
  • Practical experience in revenue assurance and a good understanding of risk management, internal audit processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and collaborating with senior management.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
