Job Description:
A reputable educational institution in Lagos State, Queens College, is seeking an experienced and passionate Literature Tutor to provide academic support to students. This role involves guiding students through curriculum content, improving their analytical skills, and preparing them for both internal and external examinations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Literature lessons in line with the school’s academic standards.
- Prepare students for internal assessments and national examinations such as WAEC and NECO.
- Create lesson plans, assign homework, and assess student performance.
- Encourage critical thinking, literary analysis, and independent reading among students.
- Maintain student discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
Job Requirements:
- A degree in English, Literature, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Literature Tutor or secondary school teacher.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire students and adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
