Job Summary

A skilled Maintenance Engineer is needed to oversee the maintenance of rotating and static equipment in oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability and efficiency of mechanical systems, applying industry standards and best practices to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of rotating and static equipment, including pumps, generators, compressors, scrubbers, pressure vessels, and KODs.
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
  • Utilize CMMS software (SAP, Maximo, etc.) for work order management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (API, ASME, NACE, ISO) related to mechanical integrity and maintenance.
  • Analyze maintenance data, identify recurring issues, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute planned shutdowns and turnarounds efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating and static equipment, including compressors, pumps, and pressure vessels.
  • Certification in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP) is an added advantage.
  • Experience with CMMS software (SAP, Maximo) and maintenance scheduling tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
