Job Description

Flutterwave is hiring a Manager, Business Development to drive enterprise sales growth across key regions in Nigeria. The role focuses on merchant and consumer onboarding, revenue generation, and strategic relationship management within the fintech ecosystem. Candidates must have strong sales expertise, deep knowledge of digital payments, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Job Responsibilities
• Meet or exceed sales targets by engaging prospects, scheduling quality meetings, and building a strong revenue pipeline
• Generate leads using available tools and outbound prospecting strategies
• Initiate and manage contact with potential customers across multiple channels
• Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation to successful transaction and onboarding
• Manage relationships with enterprise and retail merchants to ensure long-term value
• Maintain an accurate and robust sales pipeline within the CRM system
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally across all channels
• Monitor sales performance against budgets and recommend improvement strategies
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports for management review
• Analyze competitor offerings to identify strategic positioning opportunities
• Provide local market insights to the product development team
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years’ progressive experience in business development and sales
• Strong knowledge of fintech, digital banking, or payment solutions
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage high-value client relationships
• Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong people management and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to multitask and deliver results under pressure
• Demonstrated success in fast-paced and evolving business environments
