Job Description
DAG Industries Nigeria Limited, a leading distributor of Bajaj motorcycles, tricycles, genuine spares, tyres, and lubricants, is seeking a highly skilled Marketing Manager. The position focuses on driving sales through impactful field marketing initiatives across Nigeria and West Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute on-ground marketing campaigns, including park activations, service camps, POP materials, and rural market engagement.
- Develop and implement consumer and dealer schemes to increase retail sales and market penetration.
- Manage vendors, agencies, and field activation teams to ensure brand consistency and efficient execution.
- Collect and analyze customer insights, market trends, and competitor activities to support sales and product strategy.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align campaigns with sales objectives and track ROI of marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5–10 years’ proven experience in field/BTL marketing within automotive, tyres, FMCG, or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of rider, fleet-owner, and tyre retail ecosystems in African markets.
- Excellent vendor negotiation, budget management, and project execution skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and marketing analytics, with strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across rural and semi-urban areas (up to 70% field time).
