Job Description
A reputable construction firm, Craneburg Construction Company, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join its team in Ikoyi, Lagos. This role is suited for professionals with strong technical expertise in building construction projects and hands-on experience in mechanical design and site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD software
- Conduct material take-offs and ensure accurate estimation of project needs
- Support the MEP Engineer in preparing and reviewing material submittals
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper execution of mechanical systems
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues during project execution
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building construction projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for mechanical design
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good communication and teamwork skills
