Mechanical Maintenance Manager

Salary: ₦700,000 – ₦850,000 monthly
Introduction:
A reputable manufacturing company in Ilorin is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Manager. The successful candidate will coordinate the mechanical team to support plant production goals by ensuring effective maintenance practices, minimizing downtime, and implementing preventive measures using SAP and other tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the mechanical maintenance team to achieve department objectives and ensure maintenance KPIs are met.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks using SAP.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) using tools such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, and CAPA.
- Manage the maintenance budget and oversee spare parts procurement to prevent material shortages.
- Promote safety by ensuring no incidents occur in the assigned area and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
- HND or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of similar experience in manufacturing (preferably milling, feed manufacturing, or brewery sectors).
- Proficiency in SAP maintenance module and strong computer skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals and interpret drawings, conduct internet-based research, and communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Hands-on knowledge of various process equipment and utilities.
