About the Role
The Wellbeing Foundation Africa (WBFA) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Officer to join our dynamic team in Ilorin, Kwara. The ideal candidate will provide quality medical care in a community-based setting, contributing to our mission of promoting healthcare and wellbeing across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care and support to patients in accordance with WBFA’s medical guidelines.
- Conduct health assessments, develop treatment plans, and follow up on patient progress.
- Educate patients and the community on preventive healthcare practices and wellness.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and organizations to improve patient outcomes and promote health awareness.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- Current medical license to practice in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a public health or community-based setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
