About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Officer (Paediatric Care) to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care for children, ensuring their health and well-being through accurate diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. This role requires expertise in managing paediatric emergencies and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a variety of paediatric illnesses and conditions.
- Provide emergency care and stabilization for critically ill children.
- Monitor patient progress, prescribe medications, and recommend treatments.
- Educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in paediatric care (preferred).
- Strong ability to handle paediatric emergencies and critical care situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions.
