Job Description
Kennedia Consulting is recruiting an experienced Network Engineer to support the design, deployment, and management of enterprise network infrastructure across operational sites. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in network architecture, performance optimization, and infrastructure maintenance within a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy LAN and related network infrastructure across operational locations.
- Ensure reliable network connectivity and optimal performance for servers, workstations, and network devices.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment across sites.
- Manage network assets and maintain accurate documentation of hardware and software inventory.
- Monitor network performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability, security, and efficiency.
- Oversee new and existing equipment, including hardware and software upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with organisational standards and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in network engineering, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong experience in network design, deployment, and enterprise infrastructure management.
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex network issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic operational environment.
