Job Description
Bourbon Interoil Nigeria Limited is currently hiring an experienced Operations Coordinator to support the efficient management of its marine operations in Rivers State. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating vessel logistics, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and providing essential administrative and technical support to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate vessel calls, voyage planning, and fuel consumption reporting.
- Maintain and update documentation databases, including crew records and vessel certificates.
- Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to ensure operational compliance and resolve issues.
- Support the Operations Manager in ensuring safe and efficient vessel operations, including inspections and audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nautical Sciences, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in marine or offshore logistics operations.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with familiarity in industry-standard software.
- Experience with EDI systems and shipping documentation is an added advantage.
