A reputable transport and logistics company is seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and streamline its operations in Warri, Delta State. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing logistics activities, coordinating fleet operations, and ensuring efficiency across multiple service points.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily transport, relocation, and logistics operations across various locations
- Ensure optimal fleet utilization and maintenance scheduling
- Implement route planning strategies for cost-effective service delivery
- Monitor on-site performance, resolve operational issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Conduct field visits and operational assessments regularly
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in transport, logistics, or mass transit operations
- Proven track record in managing multi-location logistics or sub-station operations
- Strong knowledge of fleet management systems and Microsoft Excel
- Physically fit and willing to travel frequently for supervision
