Job Description

Raphael Group is seeking a highly competent and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee daily production operations from planning through to final delivery. The role requires a strong leader capable of managing teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring production targets are consistently met with efficiency, quality, and accountability in a fast-paced remote environment.

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM WAT (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PDT)
Salary: N300,000 – N350,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end production activities to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations
  • Develop, manage, and execute production schedules aligned with business priorities and deadlines
  • Ensure production targets, turnaround times, and service levels are consistently achieved
  • Monitor workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement immediate corrective actions
  • Lead and supervise production staff to ensure productivity, discipline, and accountability
  • Assign tasks, set expectations, and monitor daily team performance
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and regular check-ins with team members
  • Maintain quality control standards across all stages of production and output
  • Implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field is an advantage
  • Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal education
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Operations Manager, Production Manager, or similar leadership role
  • Proven experience managing teams, workflows, deadlines, and performance targets
  • Strong track record of improving operational efficiency and delivering measurable results
  • Excellent leadership, planning, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and operational or production management tools
  • Experience working with remote or US-based teams is an added advantage
  • Self-discipline and ability to work independently in a remote environment
