About the Role:
Nestoil Plc, a leading indigenous oil and gas company, is currently seeking a skilled Payroll Accountant to join its finance team. This role involves managing the company’s payroll system, ensuring accurate salary payments, tax compliance, and adherence to financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process employee payroll accurately and on time.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory deductions.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate payroll-related reports for management and regulatory purposes.
• Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure data integrity and up-to-date records.

Requirements:

• A first degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; a postgraduate degree is an added advantage.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in payroll accounting.
• Professional certification from ICAN, ACCA, or a related body.
• Proficiency in payroll software, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of payroll accounting principles and Nigerian tax regulations.
