Job Description

Ikeja Medical Centre Limited (I.M.C), a reputable healthcare provider in Lagos, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join its team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in pharmaceutical care and be committed to ensuring safe and effective medication use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
  • Provide professional advice on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication usage.
  • Ensure proper storage and security of pharmaceuticals.
  • Maintain detailed records of dispensed medications and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to review prescriptions for accuracy and safety.

Requirements:

  • Relevant pharmacy qualifications (B.Pharm or Pharm.D).
  • Current practicing license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
