Job Description
Worknigeria is currently hiring a Pre Sales Engineer to support its operations in the B2B fintech merchant acquiring space. This role focuses on identifying client needs and aligning them with technical solutions through effective communication and collaboration with internal teams. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between sales and product innovation by converting complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze company products and services to understand their value and application.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to create sales materials, demos, and client presentations.
- Understand client requirements, propose appropriate technical solutions, and support post-sale integration.
- Provide technical training, handle merchant queries, and serve as the first point of contact for technical issues.
- Assist in preparing solution documents, concept notes, and technical proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in fintech (preferably merchant acquiring, SaaS, B2B/B2C apps).
- Proven knowledge of Payment Gateway integrations and APIs.
- Prior experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Product Manager/Owner, or similar role.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Certifications in Product Management, Project Management, or Technical Support (added advantage).
