A reputable company in the FMCG sector is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to manage and streamline purchasing activities. This role involves ensuring efficient sourcing, supplier coordination, and cost-effective procurement processes to support operational and project needs.

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement activities for materials and equipment in line with approved budgets and requests
- Source suppliers, obtain and evaluate quotations, and support vendor selection processes
- Raise purchase orders and monitor order progress to ensure timely delivery
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, delivery timelines, and service agreements
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and priorities
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors
- Support cost-saving initiatives through price comparisons and negotiations
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and maintain accurate documentation
- Track procurement performance metrics and prepare reports for management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in construction or engineering
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement systems; ERP knowledge is an added advantage
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
