Job Description

An upstream oil and gas company, through OMJ Consult, is hiring a skilled Procurement Manager to oversee procurement processes and supplier management for ongoing projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely acquisition of quality materials and services, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire procure-to-pay process, including requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and payment tracking.
  • Identify, source, and negotiate for materials, equipment, and services required for oil and gas operations.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely project execution.
  • Monitor supplier performance, conduct procurement analysis, and prepare detailed procurement reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven procurement experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong negotiation skills, supplier network knowledge, and proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple procurement tasks efficiently.
