Job Description
DO.II Designs Limited, a leading furniture manufacturing and interior design company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services to support production and project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers in the furniture and interior design industry.
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with project, store, and production teams to determine material needs and timelines.
- Conduct market surveys and cost analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Prepare and process purchase orders while ensuring compliance with company standards and procurement regulations.
- Monitor orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Stay informed about market trends and industry best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably within manufacturing or related industries.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software or ERP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking ability.
- Knowledge of supplier risk management and compliance standards.
