Job Description
Canonical, a leading provider of open-source software and operating systems, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive go-to-market strategies for its Ubuntu platform. The role is fully remote across EMEA and involves shaping product messaging, positioning, and campaigns that resonate with both developers and enterprise buyers. Canonical is recognized for global collaboration, innovative technologies, and a strong presence in cloud, AI, IoT, and enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for key products, ensuring strong market differentiation.
- Lead messaging, positioning, and content planning across website copy, whitepapers, blogs, and sales enablement materials.
- Collaborate with product, sales, regional marketing, and partner teams to launch campaigns, drive awareness, and generate pipeline growth.
- Conduct competitive analysis, track market trends, and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Plan and execute global events, webinars, and community engagement activities aligned with GTM priorities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in product marketing, ideally in enterprise software, cloud, DevOps, or open-source solutions.
- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business audiences.
- Passion for technology, innovation, and open-source development.
- Growth mindset with a focus on experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
