Production Manager at Dele Pharmaceutical
Job Description
Dele Pharmaceutical is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing of IV fluids. The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency, compliance with regulatory standards, and high-quality output while leading and mentoring production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet targets.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, WHO guidelines, NAFDAC regulations, and SOPs.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to maintain product quality and investigate deviations.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate production staff while promoting continuous training and GMP culture.
- Oversee operation, maintenance, and validation of production equipment and facilities.
- Drive process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and operational excellence practices.
- Enforce safety, health, and environmental policies across production operations.
Requirements:
- B.Pharm or Pharm.D degree.
- Registered Pharmacist with a current license to practice or proof of registration payment.
- 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2 years in sterile/IV fluids production preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic processing, sterilization, WFI systems, and cleanroom operations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and production reporting tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
