Job Description
Traverse Energy Services Limited is hiring a qualified Project Engineer with experience in oil and gas construction, particularly pipeline projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that project execution aligns with client and contractor specifications, budgets, and schedules. Familiarity with horizontal directional drilling (HDD) and proficiency in AutoCAD are considered strong advantages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, and calculations
- Develop and update project schedules, budgets, and risk management documents
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and progress
- Oversee site activities, perform inspections, and resolve any technical or operational challenges
- Carry out quality control checks and audits, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards, and provide regular progress reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or metallurgical engineering
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in pipeline and facilities construction and installation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera, and Microsoft Project is highly preferred
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies
