Job Description

Polaris Digitech Limited is hiring a Project Management Officer to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT-related projects. This role is suited to a detail-oriented and tech-savvy professional who can work closely with project stakeholders, manage project documentation, track progress using project management tools, and ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed timelines, scope, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in contract review processes and translate agreed terms and conditions into clear project deliverables
  • Support the Project Manager in communicating project goals, objectives, and expectations to internal teams
  • Identify potential project risks, maintain an up-to-date risk register, and support the development and monitoring of mitigation plans
  • Assist in preparing project status reports, progress updates, and internal or client-facing reports
  • Support purchase order tracking, variations, and change management in collaboration with administrative and finance teams
  • Develop, update, and manage project plans, schedules, calendars, and milestones
  • Support project budgeting and cost tracking alongside the Project Manager and Finance team
  • Facilitate the flow of critical project information among team members and stakeholders
  • Implement and manage staffing and resource allocation models based on project execution requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company and project-specific reporting procedures and standards

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BSc or HND in Business Administration, Computer Science, Geography, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a project management role
  • Experience working on IT or technology-driven projects in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Strong understanding of project management processes, tools, and performance metrics
  • Good knowledge of commercial, financial, and reporting processes within projects
  • Ability to support live deployment of applications and IT solutions
  • Membership or affiliate status with a recognized project management body or relevant certification is an added advantage
