Job Description
A global energy recruitment provider is seeking an experienced Projects Control Manager to oversee financial planning, scheduling, and cost management for oil and gas projects. The role requires strong expertise in project controls, financial forecasting, and team leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and track project budgets, schedules, and costs to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery.
- Develop and manage project master schedules, resource plans, and financial forecasts.
- Prepare and present detailed project status reports, including earned value analysis and progress tracking.
- Monitor contractor performance, control work-in-progress, and ensure accurate billing and financial reconciliation.
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to junior project controls team members.
Educational and Professional Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related science field.
- Minimum of 15 years’ relevant project controls experience, with at least 5 years in the field.
- Strong background in oil and gas fabrication, construction, or installation projects.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, Primavera, and other project control software.
