Cooperazione Internazionale (COOPI) is seeking a dedicated Protection Assistant to support its Child Protection and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) programming. The ideal candidate will have a passion for humanitarian work, strong field experience, and the ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide field-level support for Child Protection and GBV case management, ensuring timely and effective service delivery.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold the dignity and rights of clients at all times.
  • Assist in the implementation of protection activities, including psychosocial support, awareness campaigns, and training sessions.
  • Coordinate with team members to organize activities, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth operations under pressure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution.
  • At least 2 years of field experience in Child Protection, GBV programming, or general protection.
  • Strong ability to maintain composure, multitask, and pay attention to detail in high-pressure environments.
  • A positive and professional attitude, with excellent teamwork skills.
