Job Description

Regolith Technologies is hiring a QA Engineer for a fully remote contract role lasting 9 to 12 months. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, self-driven, and experienced in both manual and automated software testing. This role involves close collaboration with developers and product managers to ensure that products meet quality and usability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UI testing
  • Document and track bugs using issue-tracking tools such as Jira
  • Maintain and enhance automated test suites
  • Participate in sprint planning and daily team standups

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools
  • Experience with web or mobile application testing
  • Proficiency with tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, and automated frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup

Additional Advantage:

  • Experience with performance or load testing tools
  • Knowledge of API testing using Postman or RestAssured
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum workflows
  • Basic scripting in JavaScript or Python
  • Understanding of security or accessibility testing
