About the Role

AIM Consultants Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the contractual and financial aspects of construction projects. The role involves cost planning, tender preparation, contract administration, valuation, and ensuring projects achieve value for money while meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze project costs for tenders, including materials, labor, and time requirements.
• Develop tender and contract documents in collaboration with architects and clients.
• Oversee cost control, value engineering, and risk assessment throughout the construction process.
• Handle contract negotiations, procurement strategies, and subcontractor coordination.
• Advise on contractual claims, manage project budgets, and prepare interim valuations and detailed progress reports.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in cost management and contract administration.
• Proficiency in cost estimation software such as CostX, WinQS, or MS Excel.
• Solid understanding of standard forms of contract, including FIDIC, JCT, and NEC.
• Professional membership or registration (e.g., NIQS, RICS, QS Registration Board) is an added advantage.
