Job Description
An established FMCG company is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales operations, drive revenue growth, and expand market presence across the Kano region. This role requires strong commercial acumen, hands-on leadership, and proven experience managing sales teams and distributors within the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets
- Manage, motivate, and supervise sales teams and distributors across the assigned region
- Drive market penetration and strengthen relationships with distributors and key retailers
- Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to inform decision-making
- Ensure optimal product distribution, availability, and visibility across all sales channels
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates
- Work closely with marketing and supply chain teams to support regional sales initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience, with strong FMCG industry exposure
- Proven experience managing regional sales operations and leading sales teams
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills
- Good understanding of the Kano and Northern Nigeria market is an added advantage
- Availability to resume work immediately
