About the Role
Flying Doctors Nigeria is a leading provider of air ambulance and medical emergency services in Africa. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Doguwa LGA, Kano. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality healthcare services, ensure occupational health compliance, and respond effectively to medical emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational health services and ensure compliance with medical safety regulations.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients while maintaining detailed medical records.
- Administer first aid, basic life support (BLS), and emergency care in critical situations.
- Educate employees on health, safety, and wellness programs to promote workplace well-being.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification with a valid practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- 3–5 years of experience in occupational health, industrial nursing, or hospital settings.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations in Nigeria.
- Proficiency in handling medical emergencies and BLS procedures.
- Excellent record-keeping, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Certification in Occupational Health Nursing is an added advantage.
