Job Description
SIMS Nigeria Limited, a leading company in electronics and appliances distribution, is currently recruiting a Revenue Assurance Associate to join its Lagos office. This role focuses on tracking revenue, ensuring remittance compliance, and supporting financial audits. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a background in accounting or finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor cash remittances from branches and follow up on any outstanding payments across all sales channels.
- Identify and track cash leakages in stores, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Ensure all audit requests related to revenue are addressed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Track online sales remittances from e-commerce partners and follow up on unremitted transactions.
- Prepare expense journals for posting into the general ledger.
- Reconcile daily sales reports with bank inflows and assist with the monthly review of general ledger and trial balance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 2 – 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Student membership in ICAN, ACCA, or a related professional body.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of revenue processes, general accounting principles, and financial data analytics.
